It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ruth Thayer of Grand Isle, Louisiana, who passed away on November 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Raggio and Aurore Doucet; her husband T. J. Thayer; her children, Claire Lynn Thayer Arabie and Keith Wayne Thayer; her great grandchild Cheyenne Arabie; and her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Raggio Moore and Lois Dale Raggio Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Karl Dean Thayer and Chris B. Thayer; her grandchildren, Charles Arabie, Brandon Arabie, Stephannie Arabie, Bryan Thayer, Karla Thayer Stewart, Jason Thayer, Lucia Thayer and Arianna Thayer; and her brother Earl Raggio, Jr.. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to go to Scholarships at Grand Isle High school &/or plant beautification in Grand Isle.
