He was predeceased by: his daughter Peggy Sue Chighizola; his parents, Hansel Chighizola and Mazie Guidry Chighizola; his grandparents, Zilda Melanie Chighizola, Alcide Urban Chighizola, Jr., Barbe Bradberry and Cyriaque Guidry; and his parents-in-law, Webb Sr. and Margie Cheramie.
He is survived by: his wife Emma "Babe" Cheramie Chighizola; his children, P. J. and John; his grandchildren, Hayden (Anna), Chance, Taylor (George) and Alyssa; and his sister Vera Chighizola.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church (195 Ludwig Ln, Grand Isle, LA 70358). A Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Cheramie Cemetery East Main.
