He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Gisclair Cheramie; his children, Steven Cheramie, Michael Cheramie, Billy Cheramie, Rosemary Vegas, Laura Mae Sanomi and Laurie Ann Breaux; and his stepson Aubrey Chiasson Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Harry "Chu-Chu" Cheramie (Vivia), Harvey Cheramie Jr. and Darlene Cheramie; and his stepdaughters, Audrey Chiasson, Donna Chiasson and Penny Chiasson. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
