She is survived by: her children, Paul Sonnier, Sr. (Sarah) of Opelousas, Rita Schexnayder (Harry) of Lawtell, Brenda Belson of Sunset and Carolyn Riggs of Arnaudville; her siblings, Joseph B. Charles (Rutha) of Houston, TX, Lawrance Charles of Carencro, Delphine Williams (Dalton) of Sunset and Versie Martin of Houston, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Alma, Thelma Charles and Sterling Colomb. She is also survived by seven grandsons; five granddaughters; eleven great grandchildren.
