She is survived by: her children, Ronald Pierre Meche (Viola) of Sunset, Russell Joseph Meche of Grand Coteau, Geraldine Himel (Glen) of Lafayette and Janelle Meche of Grand Coteau; and her sister Alma Tauzin Benoit of Arnaudville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
