She was predeceased by: her sons, James Anthony Forbes and Quintin Forbes; her parents, Clarence Forbes and Rosemary Forbes; her brothers, Michael Forbes, Ronnie Forbes and Clarence Forbes, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Danny Trahan.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Forbes of Opelousas, Shunperra Forbes of Opelousas, Charelle Forbes of Opelousas and Tisa Forbes of Opelousas; and her siblings, Charles Ray Forbes (Adrienne) of Sunset, Gilbert Forbes (Shavonne) of Lafayette, Roseanna Lilly (Leo) of Carencro, Betty Waters (Frank) of Jennings, Joann Trahan of Lafayette and Cynthia Smith (John) of Lafayette. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
