He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Hardy, Sr. and Natalie Brown. He is survived by: his wife Paula Hardy of Grand Coteau; his sons, Darnell Coleman Hardy (Eulanda) of Washington, DC, Danny Clay Hardy, Jr. (Talibah) of Baton Rouge and D'Andre Christopher Hardy, Sr. (Kadijah) of Duson; and his siblings, James Howard Hardy, Jr. (Karen) of Crestview, FL, Joseph Samuel Hardy (Janice) of Grand Coteau, John Gerard Hardy (Caroline) of Humble, TX, Reginald Christian Hardy of Grand Coteau and Tara Allison Richard (David) of Grand Coteau.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (289 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
