With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Gordon (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on May 6, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Simoneaux Sr. (Buddy) and Amelia Stewart Simoneaux; her husband Earl Gordon; her brother Sherman Simoneaux; and her grandson Lorenzo Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Jerome Gordon (Maria), Radley Jay Gordon, Catina Rechelle Gordon (David) and Mandy Marie Darensbourg; her grandchildren, Terrynne Gordon, Juan Guillen, Radley Gordon Jr., Alexis Green, Natalie Gordon, Deondre Gordon, Kai Gordon, David Oates, Jr., Alex Gordon, Rakaylah Gordon, D'Khari Isaac, Victoria Gordon, Romalis Gordon Jr., Marleigh Darensbourg, Maliyah Polly and Malahni Polly; her siblings, Melba Louise Buckley, Ruth Nell Butler, Norma Lee Rapp, Gloria Paul, Sarah Domino and Clarence Simoneaux Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Ben Buckley, Norbert Paul Sr., Macklin Domino Sr. and Larry Fuller; her aunt Bertha Gordon; her sisters-in-law, Francis Gordon, Eva Adams, Willie Mae Taylor and Olivia Gordon; and her godsons, Bruce Simoneaux and Charles Taylor, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a memorial celebration will be held in her honor at a later date.
