She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Smith and Leona Smith; and her siblings, Herman, Raymond Scott, Verlina Davis, Roger Smith, Jr., Ivery Smith, Audrey Breaux and Lillie Mae Fobh.

She is survived by: her husband Rafael Parrilla; and her children, Randell Watkins (Sharell), Denise Marshall (Willie, Jr.), Takisha Watkins (Kimberly), Cornel Watkins (Karen), Deondra Moody (Dentrell) and Kyron Watkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and 4 godchildren.
