She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Landry C. Smith and Victoria Herbert Smith; her children, Deyon Smith Benjamin, Bonnie Smith Grows and Byron Anthony Smith, Sr.; and her grandson Byron Anthony Smith, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Howard (Bernard); her grandchildren, Asantra Mollaire, Teommi Davenport, Rayon Smith, Amber Howard, Damond Smith, LeVar Goudia and Trevor Smith; her great grandchildren, LaRon, Janiah, Gia, Jarrien, J'Kyren, Emmitt III, Ayden, Ava and Hasan Jr.; her great great grandchildren, Kerrione and Zuri; her children-in-law, Valerie Smith and Kevin Grows; and her godson Wilbert Wayne Milton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
