It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Anthony Alexander Sr. (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arcadia "Grace" Woods and Ferdinand "Connie" Alexander of Edgard, LA.; his siblings, Ferdinand Sr., Theresa (Jawanda) and Glenda Alexander; and his grandparents, Menolia, Steven Lagrange, Harold Woods, Ferdinand and Philomene Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Catina Pierre Alexander; his children, Michael, Jr., Taylor, X'avier, Heaven Alexander and Tylan Pierre; his siblings, Dianne Boudoin (Daniel), Patsy Andrews, Vanessa Johnson (Welton), Arles Bennett, Gerald (Donna), Chris (Allison), Brian (Ninette), Dwight (Danielle), Debra Preston (Calvin) and Melissa Alexander; his parents-in-law, Dianna and Warren Pierre; his sisters-in-law, Kizzy Pierre McDonald, Tangi Pierre and Kristi Baptiste (Jarrell); his godmother MaryAnn Wright; and his godchildren, Maiya Haymond and Jaci Legaux. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
