She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille and James Baker, Sr.; her daughter Latanya Mclaughlin; and her siblings, James Baker Jr., Steven Roussell, Maryann Gross, Emma Ford and Shirley Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Roderick D. Bryant; her children, Leona Boudreaux (Wayne), David Mclaughlain Jr. (Chalacey), William Mclaughlin and Akeem Khaif; her adoptive sons, Gregory Rice, Carl and Torey Scott; her grandchildren, David Mclaughlin III, Tylor Mclaughlin, Talor R. Gaines, Denzel Hawkins, Willnisha Jones, Etril Baker, Olivia Boudreaux, Christopher Mclaughlin, Jamiya Hightower, Jatiya Hightower and Keith Mosely; her great grandchild Keith Keith Mosley Jr.; her goddaughter Jessica Brown Johnson; and her siblings, Carlis Dorsey, Dorothy Brown and Linda Baker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
