With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lionel B. Adams of Gramercy, Louisiana, born in Edgard, Louisiana, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Adams and Mary Lee Stockman Adams; his brother Armster "Cosmo" Stockman; his grandparents, Armster, Sr., Leborah Narcisse Stockman and Lionel; his niece Alexis Nelson; and his godparents, Lillie B Pryer Mitchell, Larry Stockman, Sr. and Dee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lynette Stockman, Vincent Adams (Kaila) and Kenyatie Nelson (Oscar); his nieces and nephews, Sabrina, Allentrice, Shawntell, Shavonne, Shatira, Shakera, Alice, Kylie, Kennedi, Sean, Devon, Sr., Davon, Trayvon, Kylon and Oscar, Jr.; his sister-in-law Stephanie Stockman; his aunts and uncles, Joseph Stockman (Gloria), Urbin Roussell, Hattie Honore (Cornel), Cecile Adams, Elouise, Beatrice Stockman, Odelia Lewis (Lu-Lu) and Janice Steward; his godchild Shavonne Stockman; and his friends, Marcald Simon (Deonegra), David Johnson and Chasity Jasmin (Jalen). He is also survived by 9 great nephews, 15 great nieces; 1 great great nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A reception was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Life Funeral Services (315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052). An entombment was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM at the Life Center For Life Funeral Services (315 E Airline Hwy, Gramercy, LA 70052).
