It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kim Carter (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on August 2, 2018, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Joe Carter; her brother Ronnie Griffin; her nephew Ronnie Griffin, Jr.; her aunt Elsie Mae Jackson; and also, Vivian Jackson Williams, Ruby Jackson Mitchell, Gloria Manuel Prosper, Yvonne Manuel, Eli Jackson Jr., Clarence Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Matthew Manuel Sr., Oscar Manuel, Denis Manuel, Alex Manuel, King Manuel and Clearance Hansley.
She is survived by: her children, Brandy Nicole Carter Shorty (Raymon) and Kyrin Raedell Carter (Shelcia); her grandchildren, Zalon Carter, Zalayia Carter, Raylynn Breion Shorty, Lionel Griffin, Caprina Griffin, Shiria Griffin Wallace (Shawn) and Tiffany Griffin; her nephews, Damon Griffin (Brisher), Javon Griffin (Amanda) and Aaron Griffin (Terez); her aunt Many Dell Manuel Penny; her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Pittman, Elizabeth Banks, Octavia Williams, Mavis Mitchell (William), Deidra Griffin, Mary Joseph, Marquise Mitchell, Latasha Gaines, Kellan Manuel and Amber Wilson; and also, Allen Jackson and Richard Manuel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
