He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Smith Miller and Milton Joseph Miller; his brother Milton'Pop'Miller; his grandparents, Celestine Abadie Smith and Isaac Smith; and his great-grandparents, Louise Landry and Jean Abadie.
He is survived by: his wife Albertine Louis Miller; and his children, John David, Benedict Dean (Stella Thomas), Monica Miller, Sabina Albertine, Lorus Lambert (Lisa Osborne), Jason Juan, Gilbert Horatio and Hillary Lancelot (Adrienne Clark). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
