It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alvin Doucet of Gramercy, Louisiana, born in Church Point, Louisiana, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvina Comeaux Doucet and Noah Doucet; and his brothers, Lloyd and Carroll Doucet. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Daigle Doucet; his children, Robert Doucet (Brenda), Wendell Doucet (Sharon), David Doucet, Sr. (Suzanne), John Doucet (Toni) and Celeste Louque (Irvin Sr.); his sister Eldine Jeffers; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Daigle, Gercie Daigle and Mary Doucet. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grand children.
