He was predeceased by: his children, Melanie Sutton (Henry), Paulette Joiner and David "Butch" Alexander; his grandchildren, Darcy Montelius Keller, Rob Montelius, Ashley Louque, Angel Sutton and Paul Lee; his parents, Clarence Louque and Nelta Louque; and his siblings, Robert Louque, Harris Louque, Chester Louque, Beulah Bourgeois and Grace St. Pierre.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Hebert Louque; his children, Jackie Montelius (Robert), Janine Louque (Johnny), Phyllis Lee and Jerry "J. J."; and his siblings, Marie Poirrier, Doris Laborde (Dave), Herman Louque, Kenneth Louque (Ann) and Danny Louque (Sue). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
