He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Brignac Berthelot; his parents, Anicet Berthelot and Enola Richard Berthelot; his grandson Ray Martin, III; and his brother Ronald Berthelot.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Don" Berthelot, Jr. (Kelly), Chad "Moe" Berthelot and Cindy Berthelot Martin (Ray Jr.); his grandchildren, Cristina (Jared), Megan, RaeLynn, Reagan and Rylee; his siblings, Tommy Berthelot (Sheila) and Laura Berthelot Vicknair (Brent); and his sister-in-law Dolly Berthelot.
