It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deloris Love (Gramercy, Louisiana), born in Mount Airy, Louisiana, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lemon and Octavia Kennard Lemon (Ernest Love); her sister Henrietta Johnson; her brother-in-law Alexander Johnson, Sr.; her children, Rosalie Love Stephens, James, Alfred and Sharon Love; her stepdaughter Ernestine Lacey; and her grandsons, Harlowe and Kendrick Love.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Love; her children, Bobbie Gomes (Leopold), Alexander Love, Henry Love (Jo), Charles Love, Sr. (Donna) and Clarence Love (Erika); her stepchildren, Geraldine Love (Johnny Ornelas) and Ernest Polk (Nancy); her nieces, Eloise and Gwendolyn Johnson; and her great great grandchild Cherry Knight.
