He was predeceased by: his spouse Estrean Broyard Cannon; his son Carlos Cannon; and his parents, Oscar Cannon and Shirley Mathieu Cannon. He is survived by: his sons, Brent, Jr. (Samanthra) and Chad Cannon; his grandchildren, Brent III, Siena and Sidney Cannon; his siblings, Lonnie Cannon (Claudette), Darleen Davie (Gregory) and Mary Ann Folse (Lloyd); his siblings-in-law, Yolona and Angela Broyard; and his aunts, Theresa Cannon and Rose Mathieu. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service for all to attend at a later date after the pandemic passes.
