She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny and Shirley Joseph-Costley, Jr.; her brother John Joseph Costley; her grandson Calvin Connor Dennis; her grandparents, Benny Sr., Isabella Jacobs-Costley, John and Olivia Zeno-Joseph; and her parents-in-law, George and Aldonia Lewis-Dennis.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Dennis; her daughters, Uanya Dennis-Bethancourt (Shawn) of Wallace, LA, Jaleesa Dennis (Donrielle Sr.) of Vacherie, LA and Caitlin Paige Dennis of Metairie, LA; her grandchildren, Freddie, Ashanti Albert, Donrielle Jr., Madison and Ryan Broden; her siblings, Judy C. Carey (Andy) of Cincinnati, Renette C. Morton of Laplace, LA, Barbara A. Costley of Baton Rouge, LA and Benny Costley, III of Vacherie, LA; her sisters-in-law, Judy -Costley of Washington, Vivian Bazile (Curtis Sr.) of Harvey Louisiana, Leona Watson of San Francisco and Willie Mae Marshall (Wilton) of San Francisco; her godchildren, Andrew Dennis Jr. and Shaylan of Washington; and her great-aunt Emily Joseph Williams. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
