He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Mae Oubre Calcagno; his parents, Antonino Calcagno and Carmela Guarnara Calcagno; and his siblings, Jake, Royal, Joseph, Steve, Frank, Frances Calcagno and Joesphine Gondolfo.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Janis), Linda Ocmand (Claude), Brenda Louque, Wendy Tassin (Jimmy) and Michael (Rebecca); his wife Janet Zeringue Calcagno; his stepchildren, Irene Deroche (Derrel), Thomas Zeringue (Gail), Ellen Louque (Dale), James Zeringue (Penny) and Annette Schexnayder (John); and his grandchildren, Shawn Ocmand, Amy Ocmand, April Allen, Natalie Ham, Tricia Louque, Jill Osburn, Scott Tassin, Russell Tassin, Arlene Mince and Michael Calcagno, Jr.. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
