He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Gaines and Dave Carr; his sister Irma Jean Gordon; his sons, William Sr. and Carl; his granddaughter Keshelle Carr; his great grandchild E'mon Carr; and his nephew Freddie Albert.
He is survived by: his son Andrew Jr. (Joan); and his siblings, Cora Lee Barney, Jocelyn Gaines, Senoria Matthews, Leander P. Carr, Lonnie Ray Gaines and Durwin Gaines. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
