She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Avants and Catherine Cashio Avants (Ruben Torres); her daughter Tracey Torres Johnson; and her sister Kelly Avants Brogden. She is survived by: her son Johnathon Torres of Gonzales; her siblings, Gary Avants of Ville Platte, Joe Avants of Slidell and Janet Avants Soileau of Ville Platte; and her grandchildren, Braxton Nathaniel Phillip Torres, Ruben Alyxander Shawn Torres, Ayden Johnathon Drake Torres and Dustin Lane Johnson.
