Sheryl Dupre Fogleman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2024, at the age of 73, Sheryl Dupre Fogleman of Gonzales, Louisiana, born in Oakdale, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Sheryl Dupre farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sheryl Dupre is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baptiste Dupre and Dorothy Deshotel Dupre. She is survived by: her sons, Robert W. Fogleman, Jr. (Tanya) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Woodrow B. Fogleman (Jessica) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John B. Fogleman (Charity) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Timothy "Timmy" Fogleman (Brenda) of Edmond, Oklahoma.; and her brother Benjamin "Ben" C. Dupre (Marie) of Leonville, Louisiana.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (702 Cedar Hill Dr, Washington, LA 70589).
