It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Joseph Rome Jr. of Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Irma Sheild O'Bear of Howard Rome, SR. and Marjorie Rome; his uncle Vernon Rome, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Earl. He is survived by: his parents, Anna Marie McBride and Paul Joseph Rome, Sr.; his son Jakel Joseph Haynes; his sisters, Monica L. McBride, Chanda R. McBride, Avalon M. Wyre, Bianca Lewis and Sheena Lewis; and his godparents, Hortense Muse and Leroy Johnson. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
