He was predeceased by: his sisters, Brenda Tanner Perkins and Ann Tanner Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Witmer Tanner; and his siblings, Diana Tanner Shelton and Irreas "Red" Tanner, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
