It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murphy John Gautreau Sr. of Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Savoy Gautreau; his parents, Henry Gautreau and Adele Duplessis Gautreau; his grandsons, James and Joseph Ducote; his great grandchild Justin Robinson; and his siblings, Willie, Lowell, Mae and Maudry.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy G. Robinson (Johnny), Karen G. Polito (Tony), Karla G. Ducote (David) and Murphy "Packy" John Gautreau, Jr. (Adair); his sister Regina G. Bourgeois; his grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson (Christen), Jessie Robinson (Kaci), Jodi Devore (Justin), Paul, Chad Polito (Alicia), Aimee Polito (Matt), Jenifer Leonard (Cory), Janene Hebert (Drew), Jordan Ducote (Emily), Emily Richard (Lloyd) and Owen Richard (Alexa); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jenna, Jacob Robinson, Wesley, Lathan Robinson, Jase, Tucker, Adelyn Devore, Alexis, Scarlet Gray, Jackson, Abigail Polito, Brody LeBourgeois, Jameson Leonard, Easton Hebert and Evan Ducote.
