He is survived by : his wife Katherine Thompson; his children, Christopher Thompson (Scirocco) and Kristina Thompson; and his close friend Karen Butler. He is also survived by 6 sisters in-law and 2 brothers in-law.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawson - Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home (511 Tobey Rd, Gonzales, LA 70737).
