He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepfather Dan Ledbetter of Hendersonville; his brothers, Bud Freeman (Mary) of Hendersonville and Alex Freeman (Cheri) of Boiling Springs, SC; his wife Karen Morgan Freeman of Mills River; his children, Eddeana F. Moffitt of Mooresboro, NC, Vance Freeman (Amanda) of Huntsville, NC, Andrea Freeman of Dallas, NC and Jennifer F. Cha (Michael) of Clarksville, TN; his niece Leslie Morgan of Hendersonville; and his close friends, Punkin, Missy and Roper. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren.
