She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Ponson and Evelina Berthaut Ponson of Algiers, LA.; her sisters, Penelope Ponson and Jackie Schubert Loetzerich; her son Bryan Ferniz; and her great grandchild Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Ferniz Sr. (Carol) of Belle Chasse, LA and Cindy Ferniz Decuir (David) of Gonzales, LA; her grandchildren, Jordan Ferniz, Andrew Ferniz, Erika Wigstrom, Todd Ferniz Jr. and Jodi Ferniz; her stepgrandchildren, Stephen Landry, Marsha Cazes (Jerod) and Douglas Decuir; her great grandchild Chloe Summers; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jude and John Cazes; and her siblings, Pamela Helmstetter, Jerry (Shannon) and Richard Ponson (Donna).
Respectful of current guidelines, all attendees must wear their own mask/face covering and practice social distancing. Internment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Belle Chasse, LA.
