It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda Claire Kenney of Gonzales, Louisiana, born in Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Frieda Claire shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Kenney; her parents, Clarence Shelley and Frieda Tucker Shelley; and her brother Robert Shelley. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Braud, Robin Lenox, Joe Kenney and Alan Kenney; and her brother William Shelley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the James and Gahr Funeral Home (103 W Center St, Salem, MO 65560).
