He was predeceased by: his parents, Tulio Prettelt and Marjorie "Minnie" Prettelt; and his father-in-law Nolan "Bobby" Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Jacob Prettelt; his children, Tessa Renaud (Mike), Wes Diez (Chelsea) and Erika Prettelt; and his grandchildren, Gabe Renaud, Grace Renaud, Faith Renaud, Jacee Diez, Mason Diez, Ava Renaud, Vander Renaud, Keaton Renaud, Aria Diez and Camden Aydell.
