It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Knight (Gonzales, Louisiana), born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Black and Leontine Black; and her siblings, Margerat Black Simmons, Buddy Black and Joe Black.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph "Bubba" Knight (Jane) of Slidell, LA, Metta Harper of Prairieville, LA, Nancy Montagnino (Greg) of Baton Rouge, LA and Andy Knight (Jean) of Mandeville, LA; her grandchildren, Alan Knight (Regina), Stacey Knight, Chris Virusky, Larry "Kip" Adcox (Beatriz), Chris Adcox (Nicole), Andy Montagnino (Leah), Cassie Dinecola (Nick), Trent Knight (Courtney), Jeff Singley (Necole) and Chris Singley (Shannon); and her great grandchildren, Jamie Knight, Dylan Knight, Joshua Blymiller, Ryan Blymiller, Taylor Virusky, Hadley Virusky, Brittany Adcox, Landen Adcox, Drew Adcox, Ellen Adcox, Olive Dinecola, Desi Dinecola, Joe Montagnino, Rylee Singley, Marley Singley, Georgia Johnson, Savanna Singley and Andre Singley.
