Jackson; his brothers, Roosevelt Jackson and Emile Louis Jackson; his parents-in-law, Oscar Williams Sr. and Lillian Tumblin Williams; his siblings-in-law, Leola Jackson, Robert Youngblood, Oscar Williams Jr. and Ernest Williams; and his nephews, Robert Jackson, Randall Youngblood and Derrick Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Jackson, Denise Johnson, Lisa Bobo of Carville, LA, Linda Howard (Donald) of Gonzales, LA, Carl Jackson (Carolyn) of Gonzales, LA and Kenny Jackson (Sharon) of Prairieville, LA; his grandchildren, Rendell Jackson, Eric Harris, Lakisha Jackson, Gregory T. Johnson, Carl Gray, Danitra Johnson, NaQuilla Morris, Cedric Bobo, Bradley Morris, Jalen Jackson, Carlye Larks, Kayla Bobo, Devon Bobo and Jeremy Jackson; his great grandchildren, Jairen, Rendasha, Verneisha, Chandler, Coen and Nyla; his siblings, Dorothy J. Martin, Gloria J. Williams (Charles) and Wilbert Jackson, Sr.; his sisters-in-law, Sadie W. Daniel and Rita W. Jones; his godson Minister Andre L. Jones; his friends, Joseph Allen, Sr., Joseph W. Bobo, Jr., Boyd Craft, Jerry Corbin, Leon Jackson, Mary Jackson and Alfred Thomas, Jr.; and also Darryl Frazier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt Bethel Baptist Church (5651 Martin Luther King Pkwy, St Gabriel, LA 70776). A burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at the St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery (10438 Boudreaux Rd, Gonzales, LA 70737).
