She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tate (Sparky) and Bertha Braud Tate; her husband Reginald E. Yelverton; her children, Terri Yelverton Lessard and Mark Wayne Yelverton; and her daughter-in-law Jane Cokes Yelverton.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Yelverton Ducote (Steve Ducote), Rhonda Yelverton and Paul Yelverton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
