He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Gautreau and Mary Ann Gautreau; and his brother Bryce Gautreau. He is survived by: his wife Debby Gautreau; and his brother Kent Gautreau. He is also survived by two stepchildren, and two grandsons.
