She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Bennett Sr. and Nancy Ward Bennett; her brother Dr. Fred E. Bennett Jr.; and her mother-in-law Katie Ford Kramer. She is survived by: her husband Walter L. Hastings; her children, Kay St. John (Glenn) and Robert (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Isabel and Robert Clay; her son David Hastings (Dana); her grandson Neal Hastings (Anne); her great grandchildren, Louise and Caroline; her son Jeffrey Hastings (Halley); her granddaughter Lola; her children, Bobby Hastings (Jenea), Dan Hastings (Mona), Jennifer and Sarah Crook (Chet); her grandchild Beau; her children, Hunter (Christin) and Jane Sherman (Steve); her grandchildren, Stephen (Ainsley), Kramer and Elizabeth; her sister-in-law Alice Bennett; her niece Allison; and her nephews, Fred III (Judy) and Frank (Karen). She is also survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
