It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benedict Johnson of Gonzales, Louisiana, born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Johnson, and Chester Johnson, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Patterson, Aurelia Lee, Beverly Buggage, Laverne Dennis, Almatine Blame, Bernard, Herman, Raymond and Chester Johnson, Jr. (Williams).

He is survived by: his siblings, George Johnson (Barbara) and Chrystal Dennis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
