She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Takeisha L. Gray and Charles Sanders; her siblings, Gloria Sanders, Celestine Dright, Maxine Gray and James Gray (Donna); her grandchildren, Tasheiona Gray, Delon Harvey and Charles Sanders, Jr.; her parents, Augustine Gray and Herbert Johnson, Jr.; her son Derrick Gray; her siblings, Rose Mary Gray and Herbert Bailey; and her aunt Leontine Bailey. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great niece, cousins, and friends.
