She is survived by: her husband Clarence Stewart (Teddy); her children, Clarence Stewart Jr. of Gonzales and Tyrus Stewart (Letitia) of Metairie, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Jasmin French of New Orleans, Sydney Stewart and Victoria Stewart of Metairie, Louisiana.; her siblings, Rev. Samuel Jones, Clarence Prestley, Alex White of St. James, Andre Jones (Shalonda) of Thibodaux, Betsy Octave (Edwin III) of St. James, Betta Jacque of Gonzales, Lenora Watis (Calvin) of Gonzales, Clara Harris (Herbert), Alexis Graves of St. James, Virginia Richardson, Dorris LeBlanc and Brenda Allen of Convent, Louisiana.; and her siblings-in-law, Persell Stewart, Alfred Stewart of Convent, Rodney Taylor of LaPlace, Louisiana, Gloria Holmes of Gonzales and Darlene Stewart of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Calavary Baptist Church (8969 LA-18, St James, LA 70086). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
