It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Leon Handley (Gonzales, Louisiana), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie E Handley and Luther A Handley; his brother Luther Autry Handley; his grandparents, Arthur and Louise Lands Etienne; and his great-grandparents, George W. and Olivia J Etienne Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Cable, Quanisha Cable of Baton Rouge, LA, Yolana Green (Matthew) of St Gabriel and Lodge of St Gabriel; his siblings, Reginald R. Handley, Jackson, Charles B Etienne, Baton Rouge, Job L Handley, Agatha L Handley and Melanie R Linnear; and his grandchildren, Nova J Handley, Matthew Green Jr, Christian Verret Jr, Adrian Harris, Jr, Adriana Harris, Kemiyah Cable, Jayson James and Kaylee James. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including a special friend.
