He was predeceased by: his parents, Bashie Blake Emmet and William E. Emmet; and his sister Doris Emmet Martin (Charles Martin). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Webb Emmett; his daughter Sharon Emmett Reed; his son-in-law David Reed; his grandson Justin Brett Reed (Danielle Creamean Reed); his great grandchildren, Reese Avery Reed and Knox Emmett Reed; his sister Ora Jean Emmett Lucky; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Weeks (Evyonne Weeks) and Sue Wall (Otis Wall). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude's or a charity of your choice.
