He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Harris and Zelma Harris; his former wife Dannie Adams Harris; his siblings, Walterine Martin, Mollie Carter and Doug Harris; and his nephews, Keith, Clyde Carter and Larry Bedgood.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Melton Harris; and his stepchildren, Renee Lynn (Jeff) and Mark Keyes (Tiffani). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
