He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Nix and Berta Frasier Nix; and his sister Dorothy King. He is survived by: his children, Maurice "Bo" Nix (Jessica), Lisha Ann Nix and Teresa Green Jurgens (Joe). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
