It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Earl Rowell of Goldonna, Louisiana, born in Winnfield, Louisiana, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Huey Dale and Merna Vae Norman Rowell; his daughter Kelly Sharee Nevells; his siblings, Norma Jean Wendt, Lavora Ann Rowell, Rebecca Joyce Garner, Wanda Gale Morgan, Vera Sue Baxter, Billy David Rowell, Jimmy Dale Rowell, Terry Ray Rowell and Cynthia Lynn Bedgood; and his mother-in-law Inez Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Nugent Rowell; his children, Sonia Joslin (Michael) and Christal Rowell; his grandchildren, Duke Ross (Chelsea), Hunter Ross and Hannah Ross; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Kellci, Christopher, McKenna, Emberly and Lathan.
