It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Spurlock Dorman of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Scott Dorman; her children, Lee Bowie (Teri) of Oxford, MS, Julie Dorman of Tupelo, MS and Chellye Patterson (Tom) of Brandon, MS; her brother Tom Spurlock (Brenda) of Palmer, AK; and her grandchildren, Massey Bowie of Tulsa, OK, Lauren Patterson of Ridgeland, MS, Brittany Hall (Lee) of New Orleans, LA, Kristina King (Sean) of Madison, MS and Crayton Bowie of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
