With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melva W. Griffin of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Abraham Griffin; her parents, Clarence Williams and Julia Williams; and her siblings, Clarence Williams, Jr., Edles Williams, Eva Terrebonne and Yvonne Pitre.
She is survived by: her children, Linton Griffin (Martha), Marilyn Dewey (Ike) and Mildred Collins (Tedman); and her grandchildren, Pete Dewey, Dana Guidry, Tina Ledet, Mitsy Holdon and Wade Collins. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
