He was predeceased by: his children, Carrie Costello and Lonnie Costello, Jr.; his parents, Ceferino "Pete" Costello and Claire Herrmann; his brother Eric Costello; his nephew Tris Lirette; and his great-nephew Blake Costello.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Lirette Costello; his children, Melissa Adams (Craig), Johanna Costello (Matt), Pete Costello (Rachel) and Michael Costello (Grace); his grandchildren, Krystalyn, James, Gabrielle, Tyler, Michael, Samuel, Sophia, Xander and Beau; and his great grandchildren, Kasen and Karleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Family Center (18119 E Main St, Galliano, LA 70354). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
