He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Mae King; his parents, Edwin Darjean and Rosa Bell Jordan Darjean; his daughters, Denise Hughes and Katherine Isadore (Avalon); and his brothers, Paul Darjean and Edward Lee Darjean of Otis.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Daniel (Sherry), Raymond Daniel (Carolyn), John Frank Darjean Jr. (Paula), Otis Darjean (Jawarnita), Connie Darjean and Arianna Darjean; his son-in-law Mark Hughes; and his siblings, Roland Darjean, Earline Villery, Rosa Bell Caleb, Juanita Gaye, Ruby Jordan, Rita Henney and Anna Bell Guidry. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
